I am new to Bitcoin, so please help.

I have installed Bitcoin-QT Software and obtained the following Bitcoin address: 13fPpQzZKqTA7UePD67nh8VALhNoQnB2SN .
Then I have mined all the Blocks over 5 days mining period.

It still says 0.00 BTC, so all 5 days of mining was for nothing??
Please help!

What are you mining with? CPU? GPU? ASIC?
Are you solo mining or pool mining?

What mining equipment are you using?

You either don't have enough hashpower to successfully mine anything, or your have not configured your mining equipment properly.  What pool are you attempting to connect to?

There are a lot of things that you might have done wrong to have nothing after 5 days of mining. It's either you have a low-end equipment, you have configured your miners incorrectly, or you haven't properly configured your miners into a pool (if you are pool mining.)

You were not mining for the last 5 days. You were downloading the block chain.

Hahahaha. When I first read his comment, I was thinking "surely he's not trying to mine from the bitcoin desktop wallet software??"  LOL.

In the very early days of bitcoin, I believe the bitcoin-qt did run with a -gen by default. Wink

I think you need to buy a miner first.  Bitcoin-QT is not a miner but just a Bitcoin Wallet.

What you were doing was just downloading and syncing the Blockchain onto your hard drive.

Now that you have Bitcoin-QT all synced up to the Bitcoin network, you'd need to get an ASIC Bitcoin miner.

You won't make a ton of BTC's, but it'll at least go up from 0.00 BTC

Then I have mined all the Blocks over 5 days mining period.

Can you elaborate on this? No one can mine 'all the blocks over 5 days'.

How are you mining? Solo mining or pool mining?
Also, what is your hardware? Are you trying to mine with GPU?
