I want to make a paper wallet, but how can i be 100% sure nobody is looking to my screen with some malware, or has a keylogger or something?
is it safe to keep the pricate key on a usb in a word doc?

If I generate a paper wallet, I pay attention that nobody can look on my screen (do your mobile phone away -> cam!). Then I boot Ubuntu from a Live CD and download the bitaddress.org script on an usb stick. After, I boot again without internet and execute the script. My printer is extra for the paper wallets and old model without wifi etc. so I can print it out without having any fears

yes, i don't have ubuntu and don't want to make it too difficult
maybe it is as secure as sending bitcoins to a blockchain.info wallet with 2fa activated for over a year now so sure they dont have access to that?
or letting it at an exchange
already lost 5 btc due to a scammer last year when bitcoins were 600$ (before we went over the 1000$)

It isn't safe in the physical meaning. If a thief steals your usb, he/she has direct access to your private keys. (if they know what they are).  to prevent malware, use a live cd/dvd without a harddrive attached and disable all internet connections.

The whole point behind the paper-wallet/cold-storage is that it's created and it stays off-line, so the best way to do it is use a computer that stays off-line or do a clean/fresh install of an OS, make the paper-wallets, put them on usb or paper and keep those safe and delete the OS and re-install again.

If you have a old harddrive, pop it in, boot and download bitaddress website offline. Then unplug it from the network/internet and create the paper wallets {Print them, do not keep copies of anything on the drive}

Never use that old drive on the internet again, and those paper wallets should be relatively safe. {For extra protection, use BIP 38  passphrase protection on them}

Laminate the paper wallets {protection from environmental damage} and store them in a safe place.

You may also want to take away the wireless lan card so that you can be 100% sure your laptop or computer will be offline.

Thats the way I did. Its lost of work but the safiest way.
