Bitcoin Union would be nice. Like credit union taken serious like credit union to get a few things off them

i think a bitcoin credit union is essentially what we're working on with the Decentralized Autonomous Financial Network (DAFNe) protocol, which is being worked on in the Decentralized Lending protocol thread...

unless your talking about a physical place... and I think there will be some form of physical bitcoin banks in the future, even if they are really just front ends for the underlying decentralized autonomous technology.

Never.

Bitcoin in itself is designed to be controlled by the person who "owns" it.

While the future may be that some very trustworthy companies holding bitcoin on behalf of others, I don't see them ever charging for this service so a credit union would be pointless
