I'd love to spend time making you look like the imbecile you obviously are but you've already done this by yourself so I guess I will leave these forums if it is filled with kiddies like you. Hope you call someone some of these names the next time you're in public, sounds like you deserve a good ass kicking.

Take care and good luck with your ventures.

Aaaand... ignoring that guy. Ask any teacher on the planet, people learn better when they're not being berated by angry jackasses. There's plenty of room for criticism, but explaining someone's errors while punching him in the face has been proven unsuccessful by just about every 4th-grade bully in history.

Cool, quiet and up to 1TH pod miner, on sale now!
Currently in development - 200+GH USB stick; 6TH volt-adjustable S1/3/5 upgrade kit
Server PSU interface boards and cables. USB and small-scale miners. Hardware hosting, advice and odd-jobs. Supporting the home miner community since 2013 - http://www.gekkoscience.com

I find it pretty odd when someone starts all tough like that in forums. I've met up with a couple of those types and they are usually little wienies when you get face to face with them. If they aren't, then even better, then I can practice San Soo on them which is always such a treat since I don't get to use it as often as I'd like to.

I have him ignored so cannot see anything he is posting now. This thread will also be my last on this site. I don't need the nonsense of childish flame wars.

The bottom line is that I have read blogs and articles and all the reading in the world never really comes close to simply posting some questions and seeing what people who are already involved have to say. Yes, I was fishing. No, I am not looking for instant riches and I have the option to sell my power to the utility or to use it on my own. Selling the system is not an option, using it is, same with the hardware.

As mentioned, I could go into lots and lots of details but basically, I am looking for something interesting to get involved in. Maybe
Seriouscoin has suffered a serious loss and is frustrated watching others wanting to get involved, I don't know. What is obvious is that this person and perhaps others seem to dislike seeing people wanting to take part and those are the exact people that most should avoid. Who cares if someone doesn't know the industry terminology. I've used more technologies than I care to remember but it took time to learn every one of them.

Anyhow, doesn't matter, I will watch this thread because I am curious to see how many actually agree with this person but hope that way many more don't, and want to talk positives instead of garbage.

welcome to the world of BTC.  Humphrey Bogart did a great movie Treasure of the Sierra Madre.    I sometimes think of that film while I am on this site.

Lots of way people will burn you or scam you in the world of btc.  But there are a few of us around here that are not that bad.  Seriouscoin is the bitcointalk.org version of

"Debbie Downer"  just more foulmouthed then she is.

Here is his lists of posts.

Darn, didn't realize your link would show me his posts as well. Not interested in the negativity so won't be looking at that again. It is too bad the moderators don't get rid of people like that. Even if he created account after account, he would eventually get bored and go away.

PS: I updated my forum profile. Maybe some will see this and block him sooner than later. Don't know, don't much care.

Sadly, that person is not very bright. He keeps talking about making more money selling my power over using it. Yet, I've said several times that I am looking for something interesting and worthwhile to devote my resources to, especially if it is something which is anti-monopoly. You would think that would be a positive thing but I know in life there are always the weird doubting types.

I am happy in my life, I have what I need so when I can, I look for things I can get involved in which will make me feel that I am doing some good. Sure, I'd love to cover my costs, mainly because that is the smart thing to do, so that I can continue justifying what ever I get involved in.

Not everything in life is specifically about making money.

Bitcointalk attacts some of the worst people. Its an interesting experiment in the worst human instincts.

I didn't see the price you receive selling power back to the grid, maybe I missed it. Some simple math shows if you get less than 13 cents kw/h then you'll make more mining. Not to mention future appreciation. I would probably mine with gpus.

you really should get into the game, keep in mind that alot of these folks saying dont get into mining don't want more competition its in thier best interest to have less people mine so thier profits at least stay the same.

Right now ASIC hardware is dropping in price its a good time to buy imo expecially if you have free electricity.  I think you have at least a 1 year window for the hardware out there right now to make money off it.  Not much but if you started mining with 8TH right now in six months or so with the current diff rise the hardware would be paid off.

then the remaing six month you would be in the money.

I would say since price soars in 2013, it attacted all kind of idiots in the human kind.

Case in point: see the second bolded part above.

Yes, i would definitely mine bitcoin with gpu's. If i were to suggest mining anything else, it would be considered off topic, correct? Read between the lines, genius.

This is the bitcoin mining forum, not altcoins.
