Do you mean ethereum? No I think it will fail after couple of months. It is not comparable with bitcoin.

Ethercoin != Ethereum

Ethercoin is likely to be a random scam coin. Ethereum is a platform to smart contracts and it's not related to Ethercoin. It's not a Bitcoin competitor.

ethercoin is going to the coin use in the blockchain or one of the coin used in the Project ethercoin is already trading there could be pump and dump with ethercoin in the next few months
