You can post 10 posts in 10 seconds if you want.

They need to be on topic, substantial (contributing to the conversation) and not spam.  Don't just post simple one liners like "I agree with this user!"

Surf the forums, talk and read,
If you can post 5 times in a minute, your spamming. If they are a whole bunch of "Ya" "x2" "Cool" for your first posts. you could be flagged as just trying to post climb.

Yeah, they just copy someone else's post from earlier in a big thread so to appear as if they're putting some effort in when clearly the only effort they're making is a couple of clicks to copy and paste - or even worse using bots to do it for them (but this guy probably wasn't).

Their tactics are kind of annoying. I've seen many threads with a question asked in the OP, followed by a dozen posters with an ad in their sig giving pretty much the same answer.
