Below is what I understand the proposed terms of the loan to be:

Loan amount: 0.25 BTC
Amount to be received by borrower: .25
Amount to be received by escrow: .0075
Payback amount: 0.3125 BTC
Payback date: Fri, May 15th 2015
BTC address for borrower: 1AnonyArUmKTdyn1BxgRiVxNj7rRch3ctY
BTC address to send escrow payment to: 1FXDJgHTofVnmjacmrSzmqQPiWSc3wPkKU
Collateral: bitcointalk account (Anony)
Lender: Onewiseguy

I will need a unique repayment address that Onewiseguy wishes to have the loan repaid to. If all parties agree to these terms then please quote this message. Once both parties agree to the above terms, Anony can PM me his password so I can secure his account

The loan agreement with grtthegreat is canceled. Didn't send the loan payment within the given time frame, and was performing sketchy actions on my profile while he had access (changing email address and other info)

I want to do this through an escrow now, still available?

I wasnt performing any sketchy actions. I was changing the password and email so that the amount is under my control. Unfortunately,  I had an Internet disconnection for few minutes and you thought I was not going to lend you.  Anyways, you have refused to take a loan from me,  it's okay for me.  Also,  it's good for those who are willing to lend you to be pretty much careful. Because these days, we have been seing many loans in the price bracket of 0.2 to 0.3 btc. Four such loans come up to 1 btc.

please read this before you loan.

High loan amount, High Repayment Amount, High Interest Rates and just a recently promoted senior account as collateral. I just hope, this account doesn't turn out to be a new alt of puzzle.me, cryptoforcause, FallenGods, rony_90, deeprocks since he also said that he had 2 more senior member accounts.

Good luck anyways.

@Quickseller, better be careful with this. I don't know why, but this somehow doesn't seem good to me except the only fact that they are using someone trustworthy like you (quickseller) as an escrow.

I was told by a number of people via PM that this loan request is suspicious, however there is a signed message from an address first posted ~9 months ago here so he cannot later claim his account was hacked. TBH it seems like he is probably trying to sell his account via this loan, either way all parties agree to the terms.

You were told by a number of people that this loan request is suspicious? but yet I only received on Pm saying be careful from another member. would of been nice of you to tell me of all these PM's advising of  suspiciousness...

"TBH it seems like he is probably trying to sell his account via this loan, either way all parties agree to the terms. "

so you think he is probably trying to sell the account with the loan I give him/her... again no light of this till now.

I am the one giving out the loan and again only one Pm was sent to me. would of been nice of all the people that Pm'd you Pm me as well.

in that case this changes things.   I feel like I am left in the dark with all these suspicions

You were told to get a signed message with resolves the suspicions. You should  be safe.

It is well known that there is a very high default rate among people who provide their account as collateral for loans. There is the obvious risk that you will need to take the account/collateral if/when the loan is not repaid.

well lets see what happens.   Roll Eyes

Just to clarify account is secured correct?

Loan gets sent directly to borrower's address ?
Fee gets sent to escrow address?

Let me know dont want to mess this up.

Yes, the account is secured. Yes the loan is sent directly to the borrower's address, escrow fee is sent to my address. Please see this post with the specifics as to the loan amount and the various addresses to send to

If you are lending, you better be aware of the risks involved. You can not blame others for that.
As for this particular loan, you better hope it is repaid as you will struggle to get 0.25 BTC for the account.
