I am new to script mining and am have a problem setting up.

I have a windows 7 computer running cgminer.
I have a gridseed blade miner hooked up with the 2 usb cables and power supply's.

When I plunged in each blade windows recognized it and installed the drivers for each card.
When I run cgminer on start I get "no devices detected".

What do I need to do to get the mining software to recognize the blades?

What does your batch file look like?
Which drivers did you install?
Which version of cgminer are you using?

He is the startup batch file:

cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://us-east.multipool.us:7777 -u dukester.3 -p x

When I plugged in the blade usb plug to my windows 7 computer it recognized each blade as "STM32 Virtual COM Port"

I then ran zagdig on them and it looked like it didn't need updating but I ran it anyways.

I have since uninstalled the drivers and use the stock drivers windows comes up with and still does nor recognize  the blades.

I am running cgminer-4.9.1-windows

You are going to need to follow this guide

You can run bfgminer with those drivers but for cgminer you have to change to winUSB.

Run zadig, select option to show all devices.  Find one of the devices and switch the driver to winUSB.

For cgminer they should appear under Universal Serial Bus controllers in device manager, for bfgminer they should appear under ports (com & LPT) in device manager.

The guide worked great Thanks! Had to run a custom version of cgminer.

So I have a dual blade machine. Do I need to run 2 instances of cgminer to get the full possible hash rate?

In the startup batch file does this look correct? I set the chips to 40 (1blade). Does the frequency baud look good? Not sure what hot plug is.

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://us-east.multipool.us:7777 -u dukester.3 -p x --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=850,chips=40 --hotplug 5
