How to verify that my half of my g-blade is dead / possibility of repair?

I've got a g-blade that I haven't had long. One side of it is still functioning fine but the other side only showed up under Minera once in the past hour. I've identified which blade it is. Are both blades supposed to have lights? Any help will be appreciated.
