Yes, as long as you were really the owner of the bitcoins at the time of the split. Where were your bitcoins being held on Aug 1st?

Then yes, the bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold (if you had bitcoins in your wallet on October 20-something).
Follow this guide: https://steemit.com/btc/@libert/step-by-step-guide-on-claiming-bitcoincash-from-mycellium-wallet-201783t112141477z
Be sure to empty your bitcoin wallet before doing anything.

Why do i need to empty my wallet first? Shall I get a different wallet than the coinomi wallet and put them there first? thanks

In theoritically yes, you own bitcoincash too. Why do you just ask this question? I think it should be after bitcoin fork directly. But anyway, you can check your wallet now to check it.

Because if you don't and you fall from a scam related to the forked coins (BTG and BCH) you will lose not only your forked coins, but your BTC as well. Since they both share the same blockchain until some point, it means that the original private key is also shared. You are not obligated to do it in order to claim your coins, but for your safety DO IT.

I can point you to many cases of people losing all their BTCs because they failed to do this simple step.

Of course you own Bitcoin Cash equivalent to the amount of Bitcoin that you hold before the Bitcoin Cash hard fork was happened months ago and you can still claim it anytime you want (same as other fork coins). But you can only access or claim it if you stored your Bitcoins in a wallet that you hold the private key. What you will need to do is create a new wallet and transfer all of your Bitcoins to that wallet/address and you can now import your private key to a Bitcoin Cash wallet that allows you to do it, you can try using electron cash or coinomi wallet app.
