Escrow is needed regardless. I`m not going to give some stranger some money then get ripped off.

i bought two cards the other day. they were valid when entered and i moved them to my starbucks main account. the next day my balance was 0 (starbucks removed both new cards i entered and also removed my own existing balance). don't have an explanation yet from starbucks for this but it doesn't look good.
