Hi,

I was wondering what are the most known and best Open source faucets out there . I know about Microwallet and Faucet box is there is others that I don't know about please ? btw , is creating faucets profitable or not ? I mean can I earn money from it or I will be just wasting my money on host and BTC and don't earn anything Shocked Any answer is highly appreciated

In terms of profitable, maybe. But I wouldn't count on it unless you've got a special plan. Most faucets do not last very long precisely because they are not profitable. It's good to start off with a little capital too, as you won't be getting paid for ads until a few months go by.

It depends how you monetize them. Some devs offer bounties for setting up faucets. If you are a dev or miner yourself you can use a faucet to promote your coin. Sometimes you see Google ads on faucet pages that pay for each visitor.

Yes, this is true. But also be careful with Google Ads on faucet sites as Google may interpret the faucet as "incentivized traffic" which goes against the terms of service.

Yeah but well there is big faucet website like freebitco.in who does use Google adsense and have a lot of traffic , and they do ask users to disable their Adblock but nothing really happened to them and there ads still showing up Shocked

Yeah, I don't know. Just tread carefully. I already got burnt by Google once, they just cancelled all my earnings.
