Advertising at .onion

Hello guys.

Has anyone advertised something at .onion sites? With traditional advertising methond - banners. Or alternative ones.

Theoretically this should work, because there is directory of most popular .onion sites, Where the ads can be placed. Especially this would be good for advertising casinos (which accept bitcoins).

How are .onion sites in terms of advertising? And how do .onion sites owners look at that?

Maybe someone's already got this experience.
