in 2013 the price of Bitcoin was still very cheap and Bitcoin was also not well known by many people. Only people who are on this forum and people who are active on the internet know about bitcoin. If you don't know, you are out of luck. But even if you know it from the start, are you willing to invest or buy bitcoin? because the attraction of bitcoin is still not there. in that year to get free bitcoin was also very easy and imagine holding thousands of bitcoins to date. You will have a lot of money.

Knowing a thing doesn't make you an immediate investor even when the price is right not like there are any price that isn't right anyway but comparing it to the price now or a few years back before 2009 and 2013. Certainly one has got other ways to invest his or her money other than the uncertain once. Going digital hasn't always been the way before bitcoin and as such, a lot of individuals, us have been so used to doing things right about the things we can see and touch that we won't have invested in bitcoin should we have been told otherwise.

Another thing is, the funds weren't there neither where the means to the funds for most persons. Even now with it's price at $35k, it would come easy for some, very few people and the rest remains in the wishing. I won't say it's luck that made a few to have own some bitcoin when they did, they really did know or had an idea and as such, choose to risk it. Now they just smile as the risk pays off.

Then they can reset your password with just your phone number — one factor. But 2FA via SMS is ubiquitous because of its ease of use.

No need to regret anything. It is never too late as long as you trust Bitcoin and Blockchain technology in the long term and do your investment research well.

Yes, but must have been a great period in 2009-2010. Faucets giving 5 BTC, Pizza for 10,000 BTC, buying 1 BTC for a few cents... must have been quite an adventure. I regret missing it for all the fun involved not to mention the amount of BTC I could have saved.
No need to blame yourself getting regrets from things you didn't do back then, at the least think of the things that you did instead of bitcoin, those priceless memories is enough although it is not acceptable in a practical standpoint, you lived a more fulfilling life than anyone.

I totally get what you mean; you know, buying bitcoin so cheap that it's almost like you're just buying play money. Sounds lovely, ain't it?

But mate, you gotta be very happy getting in THAT early. I'm guessing most of us here came into this space at 2016/2017 or later. You had a 4-year head start! and 4 years is a pretty pretty sizeable amount of time.

I agree. We even had 2018 that significantly lowered the entry barrier for buying cryptocurrencies.

I think the only regret people will have today is actually knowing Bitcoin but not have the ability to buy it, or don't have the money to spare.

Depending on what certain month you've found out about Bitcoin, it's pretty much priced only around $100-$600(via CMC). That's pretty damn cheap and sure is damn early to me; also knowing that you had enough time(4-5 years) to snag some at sub $1000.

Personally, I've gotten into Bitcoin in 2016 when the price was around $700. And though that's hella cheap as well, I didn't have money to start with back then unfortunately, and it didn't take much time to climb into the 4-digit range.

Same here. I have seen bitcoin priced very cheap and so cheap that in Indian currency that’s INR it was cheapest one. I’m making this comparison because usd to inr is highly valued and thus btc is even pricier than that. However considering bitcoins cool leap back in 2015-2017 made all Indians go for it.

However at that time I had just enter in crypto market and knew nothing about it. Just noob playing from one site to another and in many instances getting scammed as well. Lolz. What a laughable days they were. However it’s so regretful that I did not hold full bitcoins when I had chance. I do believe there is more than 80% people who had guts to hold bitcoins till date.

If you thought you are late to enter crypto, you're wrong. You are there earlier because I knew btc and eth in 2017. I even do not have money to buy even 0.1 btc at that time. I still do not regret those times. What matters to me now is  I am here, thankful to someone who introduced cryptocurrency to me. I trust btc and alt and the profit I earned really helped me this pandemic.

I first found out about it only in 2013! And I'm an avid internet user. However, I still don't get it how I missed the first train. On the other hand, many people who found about it in 2009 might have said "what's this joke, not interested".

I haven't missed the 2013 train, only the 2009 one to clarify.
I also found out about bitcoin earlier but I didn't pay attention on it. I was already investing but I am not going all out because I never had the idea that its value would grow this big. If only I had the courage to put up my faith on it, maybe I am already a millionaire already. Holding was never an easy job but if you will hold your bitcoin, it would definitely pay off as soon as you experience a huge holding during a bull run. Let's learn from our mistakes and make the right decisions right now, considering bitcoin's value growing a lot right now, it's more than enough reason to put our faith on it till the end.

This is actually my same regret. I really regret being ignorant and it really cost us something great that can be used within our personal gain in life. Another thing before was maybe one of the reason we were ignoring Cryptocurrencies was it was ON the Internet which makes it really vulnerable to a bad review and bad reputations but as time passes by, there was really legitimate sources of income within the Internet without even using our own money and just investing our time.

I believe humans do mistake sometimes we often confuse on whether which is right or wrong because of fear, similarly BTC is a asset which makes crazy to invest that's okay if you missed the train before a decade. Let's have a look on last year it was 3.5k still many feared and there were lot of rumours on the price will even go down but it pumped 300% which is a huge and massive pump and the rest what we see today is the history. Let's focus now and plan for the next 5 years from now.

I have known bitcoin when its hovering around $300 as far as i remember and even on that time im not really believing that it could really go this high.
On that time its already a high price for me to purchase a whole coin.In talks of missing out the train then lots of regrets stories we would really able to hear out
but to know that with this unpredictable market and the things we had done then it isnt just right for us to look back again because that will really
be just a stressful thing for us.
