Shares stay at 0

I am using guiminer on deepbit and have noticed that my shares are not increasing.  Simply states 'shares:0 accepted' , also it said connected and shows hash speed.  Any ideas?

Also I know that this question is up already but have yet to see an answer given.

What are you mining with? Odds are that you just don't hash quickly and haven't solved a diff 1 share yet.
