In my view, android is not a very safe platform for a wallet unless the android system has nothing installed and will not be used for anything other than storing bitcoin.

Yes you are right, you should "keep" a clean android smartphone only as wallet for your bitcoin, it is not suggested to download other apps or visiting suspicious link (from that android smartphone)

Is there something that looks like Bitcoin-qt (nice and clean) but lightweight for Android?

I personally use blockchain mobile for daily transaction in android devices. It is good and simple wallet. Another nice wallet should be mycellium bitcoin wallet.  But i won't hold too many coins in android wallet cause there are many spyware in android

Noone use electrum on android??

Because it Python dependencies are needed for Electrum and most of the newbies go for simpler methods. Click 'Play Store' -> Search 'Bitcoin wallet' -> Install.

You can save your android by 90% if you check permissions. You can easily understand for most of the apps, whether it is good or not if you check permissions.

It is not recommended for newbies. Electrum do not officially support android and incompatibility could happen, resulting in loss of coins. It would be better to go for a wallet that is designed for use on Android.

So Mycelium is the best one.
Just saw most of here mention about it.

Just downloaded it and the interface look simple

'Best wallet' is different for different persons. I like 'GreenAddress' and Andreas Shildbach's Bitcoin wallet more than Mycelium.

GreenAddress for some of it's unique features and Andreas Shildbach's Bitcoin wallet for it's Bitcoin-qt like UI.

I would never have a main wallet on my Android.
I have only tiny amounts there, got a blockchain wallet, no complaints s far.
