Hello

Not really sure if this is the right section ot not. My name is Ricardo. I read about BitCoin on the local news here and it got me very interested. I bought a few BitCoins with my savings.

I have two questions. What is the best place to store my BitCoins? Is there a best software to use?

I am being forced to type letters at the top when I send a PM, is there any way to turn this off?
Online wallet is best way for newbie, it ez to use
You can try coinbase

Its eaziest, but when it comes to security, its not that good, because you never know when it can get compromised. Bitcoin is intended to be as decentralized as possible, so keeping your funds on local wallet
is the way to go, atleast until they by some chance ensure backup funds to fund client losses in the case of eventual theft, which i doubt anyone will do.

cheers

Online for small amounts, Blockchain, Green Address, or Coinbase should do.

For larger amounts, I'd recommend desktop wallets Bitcoin Core, Armory, or Electrum.

For being completely offline and the most secure method, Paper wallet, Ledger, or Tresor wallets will do the trick.

Yeah, if you're not planing on spending your btc or you're going for he larger amounts, then I'd recommend the offline paper wallet.
