It is an admin's decision.  I have seen it done though.     Only a handful of times unfortunately.

Well you could change your username by getting Donator/Vip status. Do you really believe that 20+ activity is worth 10/50 BTC?

Just make another account , it's not much late yet but a month.
Changing name is upto Admin and he has no time to do something like this.
So just move on man! make a new account

The other day I read in some other topic that you can either donate to become a VIP member or you can request theymos (or whatever his name is, the forum admin) to change your user name. But theymos hardly entertains such requests now a days. So don't get your hopes high.

Actually it's true that 20+ activity is hard to gain, because you need 3 weeks to reach that (It's hard for the newbie)

I don't think theymos would bother responding to a newbie's request to change their username.
I reckon he might do it for a full member or above though providing they have no negative trust.
If they have no negative trust then they're not trying to hide anything, they're probably just bored of their username.
I thought about trying to change mine before but didn't bother trying.

Yes you can, but you have to have "Donator" status, which requires donating 50 BTC.

Wrong. Donating 50 BTC will get you a 'VIP' position and 'Donator' position for 10 BTC.

That looks right. And AFAIK, you need to be a VIP in order to change your title yourself.
As I noticed the following on the "Donate" page of the forum:

If you donate 10 BTC, you can get a special "Donator" title and a green "who's online" color. If you donate 50 BTC, you get VIP status and the ability to create a custom title for yourself. Both Donators and VIPs also get access to an exclusive forum section.

Yes. You need to be VIP to get a title and to change username, you need to be Donator or VIP or Staff.
