Well been mining for a little over 2 months now on my 7970 and sold about 50$ worth. Had another 0.7 BTC in mt gox to play with and a little in my wallet. Well sure enough this morning noticed my MtGox account got hacked so lost my 0.7 BTC. I never added a authenticator but now thinking about it. WHich software authenticator do you use? Any suggestions would help thanks!

Use both, Google Authenticator (print the QR code so you have a paper backup) and Yubikey.

That way you have your ass covered.

As soon as you will do a few small trades on Gox you will be entitled with a free Yubikey. In the meanwhile, you can just use Google Authenticator. Anyhow, it's very important that you print the QR code and the private key string before even clicking on "SAVE". Otherwise, if you lose your phone, or if it fails and become a brick, etc. you will be screwed big time.

And do not forget to add the 2FA also to the "security center" option, otherwise a hacker will be able to change your security settings any time.
