User combayn opened a self-moderated topic in the forum's.

I purchased a $25 Amazon GC few days ago, but did not received it. I receive only conformation email from hex.

PMed seller - still no answer...

Then i posted on his topic, and few hours ago i receive this message:

You can create a new topic if you are unsatisfied with this one. If the topic-starter is scamming, post about it in Scam Accusations.

Do not buy from him. Got scammed with $12 but you can lose more $

Sorry to hear you got scammed, but just a little research before would have saved you from getting ripped off.

1) Do NOT buy any giftcards online unless you are purchasing them directly from the official shop, too many fraudsters are using other peoples credit cards to buy them and resell them. It doesn't take long for the cards to become worthless, or even if you do redeem them - the fraud will be traced to you.

2) Self moderated threads are a big warning sign and are regularly used by scammers to censor their threads due to situations like this. Some people will scam you for even the most trivial amounts.
