With about 15 exchange accounts in my GA, finally getting around to putting them all on Authy.

But Authy asks for the QR code, which does not show up on the exchange website.

As an alternative, Authy says I can add a key, but what key is that?  API key?   Huh

Tried emailing 2 exchanges, and they responded back as if I was setting up GA new.

Thanks for any direction on this.

It is the secret key you get when setting up GA or Authy.

It will be like setting up a new GA but on authy, you will need to know the 'secret'.

Is is what the exchange website calls "API key" or "key secret"?
There are 2 different keys>

I think it is key secret. API key is something else.

It should be under 2FA if the exchange has a tab for it.

the QR Code is secret key on the GA exchanger
just add new account on authy and then insert the secret key on the exchanger
after that you can copy the code from authy to exchanger

In the end, I found it was easier to disable the Google 2FA for each account, then re-enable with Authy.

Thanks, everyone for your posts.

(Now I can move forward with getting the new phone.)
