Hi, I'm obviously brand new to this forum. However, I'm not completely new to Bitcoins.

I have a laptop with which I downloaded guiminer just for kicks. It worked fine, but I didn't use it in any serious manner because of power consumption, etc.

Recently I bought a Dell Dimension 8300 (everybody I know has had something similar at some point) on craigslist for $5.00 (local university surplus). Since it was pocket change I thought I could use it for mining Bitcoins. I'll be returning to college this fall and I'd just let it run in my dorm room (no power bills for me, yay) and I'd do my daily work on my laptop.

I know basically nothing except the basic concepts of mining. The only thing standing in my way is that Guiminer can't find my gpu. On start up of Guiminer I get a message saying "No opencl devices were found..." blah blah blah. I just don't know how to get guiminer to recognize my graphics card.

A mediocre set-up, but remember it was pocket change:
Dell Dimension 8300
ATI Radeon HD 3650 512MB DDR2 memory (Sapphire, whatever that means)
Windows XP Professional (32-bit I believe)

Please help! I'm not super into computer lingo, so I might ask a lot of questions...

The Radeon HD 3000 series don't support openCL, you can't bitcoin mine with it. Besides, even if you could you'd make next to nothing.
