Yesterday I got a Btc off a friend who is big into this stuff and I have been trying to read up on what I can possibly do with this. I tried the trading, buy low sell high kind of thing and I've pretty much just stayed even. Any hints or something I can read to expand on what I can do with this Btc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ps use small words not crazy computer lingo please lol

don't trade unless you know a bit about what you're doing. trading without knowing anything is just simple speculation and can make you lose some btc.

bitcoin is essentially money so you are asking what can i do with money Wink
obviously you can spend it...

trading is very risky and most people loose more than they win (its a zero sum game: any cent someone wins, someone else has lost).

i'd recommend to start with looking at the details. eg look you address up at https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC or blockchain.info and learn about inputs/outputs and the inner works.

if i where you i'd just hold that bitcoin and try to get a bitcoin expert Wink

(btw be careful with alts. there MAY be some which look good, but they are all riskier than btc itself. so i'd suggest to get familiar with that first)

If you don't know what to do with that BTC just hold it. You can also forget it for 3-4 years. Then you'll find its price against government currencies will be risen.
Don't forget to learn how to keep your Bitcoin secure!

Bitcoin is just like money so you can spend it. You can buy and sell things and even get discounts on things if you pay with Bitcoin.

If you want to know more about the inner workings about Bitcoin, a good place to start is the Bitcoin whitepaper which you can find at https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

That PDF file can be a little hard to follow along with if you just came into bitcoin with the thesis-style of wording. This YouTube video is a really easy-to-follow-along, beginner-friendly way to learn the very basics about bitcoin.

First thing is to save your btc with do not invest in any ponzi or hyip service, and gambling. Then you can start trading with low amount.
Since you are still new for trading don't expect to earn a lot btc. You have to realize that you are still new and still need learning trading.
So start trading with low amount, keep your eyes open in coin you trading at, and follow their social media.

welcome to bitcoin and cryptocurrency world.
if you want to trade, you have to start small and first learn how to trade and most importantly learn what buy low and sell high really means. otherwise you are going to end up losing a lot of money and get disappointed.

If u want to trade u need to read and inform yourself as much as u can. It would be good to find some good economic analyst and to fallow him on twitter or where they post their threads and from him to learn how to be better in trading.
