The UK Treasury has issued a report on digital currencies (Digital currencies: response to the call for information), after publishing a call for information in November of 2014. The report outlines some potential regulatory approaches, and hints at legislation for consumer/business protection. This is the first formal attempt by the authorities in the U.K. to deal with the rapid proliferation of cryptocurrency technologies.

Not too different from the EU report.
They start to have an idea of what crypto is about, but are still very fearful and skeptical.
Good to see they're paying it some attention though!
