I had 0.08566347 btc in this wallet:
1AqTzzy3wtNV71e3CRKNKR9xxf3PPYff1H

I send 0.00032173 btc to this wallet:
1MD2TribW7pSFtU2snSHKhfSxTV5TFY9Mz

Both wallets belong to me only and are password protected.

Transaction ID: https://blockchain.info/tx/4070be32f898fefae8047799eda1f7171cc163373dc878969d3ef6e9be5d2e22

Now wallet 1AqTzzy3wtNV71e3CRKNKR9xxf3PPYff1H has no balance left and I see a weird transaction to:
1KWNwVhrvXqTDjkp7aE6mn9hNLKH7BeMcF
It is combined with my transaction that I did intentionally. But I never ordered for the remainder of the coins to go to above address? What is happening? Shocked

Usually it sends back the other BTC to a change address, it might be on (the feature that does that) so people cant trace your transactions. That means that you own the other address too.. what does your balance shows on multibit?

First of all: 1AqTzzy3wtNV71e3CRKNKR9xxf3PPYff1H, 1MD2TribW7pSFtU2snSHKhfSxTV5TFY9Mz, and 1KWNwVhrvXqTDjkp7aE6mn9hNLKH7BeMcF aren't wallets.  Those are addresses.

A wallet is a collection of one OR MORE private keys and the associated addresses.

Secondly, many wallets will have additional addresses that they don't tell you about.  Those additional addresses are used for receiving change from the transaction back into the wallet when you send a transaction.  You can read more about it here:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Change

Have you looked at your "Bitcoin wallet for android V 4.21"?  Is it missing any bitcoins, or does it have the right amount?

You really shouldn't use block explorers like blockchain.info to determine what is happening in your wallets.  Block explorers make a lot of assumptions, and some of those assumptions are wrong.  They also encourage people to misunderstand how bitcoin works (for example, there is no such thing as a "sending address").

don't worry, you're not hacked. it's just called "change adress"
  • for better anonymity. you can disable it if you want.

The 0.08533174 send to 1KWNwVhrvXqTDjkp7aE6mn9hNLKH7BeMcF are lost at this time since I do not posses this address and the coins are also not displayed in any wallet/address under my control.

Some questions:

Where did the 1AqTzzy3wtNV71e3CRKNKR9xxf3PPYff1H address originally come from?  Did you create that address with your "Bitcoin wallet for android V 4.21"? Or did you add that address to your "Bitcoin wallet for android V 4.21" after you previously created the address somewhere else?

Do you still have access to your "Bitcoin wallet for android V 4.21", or did you delete or dispose of that wallet?

If you access your "Bitcoin wallet for android V 4.21", does the wallet indicate any balance at all, or does it indicate that it has 0 BTC?

GOOD NEWS:

I did reset the blockchain on Bitcoin wallet for android V 4.21, took a long time but my coins showed up again!
Now I send everything left on there to 1N1Dgi1Cxq45UHmWF4RA95Fo2uiYh1VwVQ.

So about this wallet on my phone... I'm confused but happy my $20 is back. Tongue

Then most likely it was a change address that you somehow hid on your android bitcoin client. It is good practice to use change addresses not only for some privacy but also for the security of your bitcoins (IE if K was reused on accident, a coding problem). I highly recommend you keep the change address feature and also never, ever delete a private key/address.

I created them all on this laptop. 1AqTzzy3wtNV71e3CRKNKR9xxf3PPYff1H Was my first ever bitcoin address that I created in multibit.

I installed the android app only recently and for convenience I loaded my multibit backup from 1AqTzzy3wtNV71e3CRKNKR9xxf3PPYff1H on my phone so I have it on two devices. I don't think I still have the original wallet that came with the android app. No idea what address that was, never used it.

You shouldn't have the same wallet loaded on two different devices. This can cause some errors because the wallets may not be synced with each other

On multibit I have 3 wallets:

- 1AqTzzy3wtNV71e3CRKNKR9xxf3PPYff1H
- 1MD2TribW7pSFtU2snSHKhfSxTV5TFY9Mz
- 1N1Dgi1Cxq45UHmWF4RA95Fo2uiYh1VwVQ

I used 1AqTzzy3wtNV71e3CRKNKR9xxf3PPYff1H for sending and receiving coins on my phone before without issues, but maybe because then I moved the entire balance. The app updated itself a couple of days ago and maybe enabled the 'change address' feature? Where do I even enable/disable this. I obviously do not like this feature. Really annoying that my coins got send to somewhere I didn't order to.

I want to move coins without advanced privacy or mixing features. Things like this could be devastating if done with large sums of money.
... you're talking about "adresses' not ""wallets" ..
ie: 1AqTzzy3wtNV71e3CRKNKR9xxf3PPYff1H --------------> this is an adress , not a "wallet" ..  Wink
