Escrow won't help the seller in the least unless funds are held for 180 days or so. Paypal is just to risky.

If it's a stolen PayPal account then it doesn't matter what you say in the email/message part, it's still not secure. In fact regardless of whether the account is stolen or not, it's still not a secure way for a bitcoin seller to accept fiat funds. You'll need to come up with another payment method.

Just open up a Circle.com account and get verified. Once you're set up, it's so much faster/safer/cheaper than PayPal for buying BTC.

If the money is in the credit card linked to the paypal account, you can contact the emmiter (or bank) of the card and "request" the annulment of the payment with an invented (but credible) reason.

Either by charging back the credit card that was used or simply using / claiming a hacked account.

OP, since you're new you won't get any offers from trusted members. Only people who are willing to sell to new accounts are those trying to con you into sending first and will decline escrow using excuses like "if i don't send you the btc you can always chargeback".

On a general basis i agree with your bold statement, BUT if you work a deal between 2 respected,mature,honest etc members of the forum you can certainly accept PP.

Not everyone working trades in the MP is a thief or scammer. Nor is everyone online who claims to be female actually a bald guy from Ohio.

Sometimes what you see is what you get, but in general there are certainly "better" ways to make safer & secure trades.
