I would like to backorder some domains before someone else does, and I'm getting paid in fiat by the end of the week which I can convert to Bitcoin, but conversion would take some time, hence the 30-day period..

You realize that backorder only works if the owner doesn't renew?  How do you know others haven't backordered it already ahead of you?

If you really feel this loan is important to you, and can't wait until you get paid, you should put up something of financial importance to you - something that can easily be sold to recover the 0.5btc should you decide you don't want to repay once you get your paycheck.  (aka Collateral)

I understand this. Which is why I specifically stated no collateral, as I have no collateral to offer at this point. In any case, I am asking to see if it's possible, and if it isn't, I'll keep pursuing other means until I am able to do what I intend to.
