Ugh. He's going to bloat the blockchain up storing segmented pirated crap. In one respect, if he can pull off that technological feat, I'll give him credit. But then again, he's pirating stuff. I guess Bitcoin can only become what it'll become. That's how you test it's staying power. You gotta let him do his thing with our thing, otherwise we just don't know if Bitcoin is really here to stay. Again, I'm not condoning illegal stuff.
Facilitating uploads is not pirating. That is as much pirating a boatconstructor, canon manufacturer or parrot salesman would do in the time of pirates. I'ts like I'm selling you a brick, you kill someone with it and now I am the murderer...

But we still gotta keep the reputation good.

Exsmactly. Or imagine if every last one of the big wigs running the Bitcoin show had intentions as crooked as those two Federal agents that just got busted. Man, this whole circus would go down. Thus, keep a weary eye on KimDotCom, but don't prevent him from using Bitcoin.

If there is going to be plan B then there supposedly should have plan A. So can I presume that since he is a bitcoin bull the previous price hike that we saw the price rally close to 300 has something to do with plan A

I guess plan A was accepting Paypal/MC/Visa. After plan A failed, plan B (Bitcoin) is on. Really true Bitcoin believer, the one who preffer Bitcoin because it is better not because it is the last option left

Kim Dotcom has been involved with Bitcoin before. In fact, I think MEGA does accept bitcoin for payments. Maybe they will be only accepting Bitcoin exclusively? I can't see how this would be good for business, but it might be his only option.

But we still gotta keep the reputation good. Bitcoin reputation is already tarnished and general public believe bitcoin is nothing but another hacker's tool created only to evade bank transfers and execute illegal transactions that way. We can't really deny that something like that is happening but mass media seem see only the dark side of bitcoin. And I don't understand how they can condemn currency? I is just as you would say that dollar is evil because you can buy drugs for dollars.

I'd like to sey the murders will decrease a little... but probably they wouldn't because the only thing they're looking for is bricks... it's a different matter if they're looking for all kinds of different pirated software, though.

That's the last thing bitcoin needs.
How? He is huge in social media, is following is something that other Bitcoin personalities like Andreas Antonopolous can't aim at. This guy can put BTC out there like no other with a single tweet so its welcome.

It might be a good pr to bitcoin, but as always, bitcoin is already tainted with dark crimes and is always related to different online crimes or even in real life. I agree that Kim Dotcom is a nice person, and is also a well-known figure in the internet. If he can use some of his connections to enter and use bitcoin, his so-called "Plan B" might be good after all.
Plan B= Plan bitcoin.

Blockchain file sharing, then again I doubt he wants to bloat the blockchain.
He's probably going to accept Bitcoin.
