NSA shooting: One dead and at least two injured

One person is dead and at least two people are injured after a shooting at a gate to the US National Security Agency headquarters.
An unnamed official told the Associated Press that gunfire broke out after a car tried to ram the gate to the sprawling military campus near Washington DC. Aerial footage showed a police vehicle and another car with extensive damage. Two people were taken to hospital, according to several media reports. Around 40,000 people work at the facility inside the campus of Fort Meade, Maryland.

Exactly what happened is not clear, and multiple requests for information sent to the NSA have not yet been returned. Calls to the NSA were answered, but no information was provided. Helicopter footage showed two cars - one a police vehicle and the other a black vehicle with no insignia - in a junction that had been roped off near the security gates. The cars appear to have collided and debris is strewn across the intersection. A white cloth appears to cover something beside the black vehicle.

I'd say domestic terrorism is much more of a threat than jihadism, lots of nutcases out there with axes to grind. Even intelligence officials (UK) have admitted that the IRA poses more of a terrorism threat than islamists, problem is it doesn't follow the mainstream news narrative.

Anyways, pretty silly idea to try and 'invade' one of the most secure buildings in the US.

This is merely a crime of breaching a secured location and then the resulting circumstances from the apprehension, not domestic terrorism. However, it wouldn't surprise me to see this drummed up as a case of it considering they like to put labels on different groups of people - specifically pro-liberty, gun owners, constitutionalists when in reality it's just lone nutballs that go off and this is the result.

The FBI in Baltimore and the NSA police said they are investigating the shooting.

“The shooting scene is contained, and we do not believe it is related to terrorism,” said Amy J. Thoreson, a spokeswoman for the FBI.

So these suddenly felt an urge to get into the compound, they were not terrorist, then who? An anti-government organization? Drunk rednecks? Spies?
Remember folks trying to drive through a security gate protected by armed guards in the middle of the day is not the way to go.

The passenger in an SUV that authorities say one of two young wearing women’s clothes attempted to ram through the entrance of the National Security Agency’s compound in Ft. Meade, Md., on Monday has been identified as 20-year-old Kevin Fleming of Baltimore.  NSA officials late on Monday said that Fleming was being treated at the University of Maryland Hospital’s Shock Trauma Unit in Baltimore for a gunshot wound to the chest that he received. They said he was also dressed in women’s clothing and disobeyed an order by guards to stop the SUV before it entered a restricted zone at the highly secretive U.S. spy agency.

Officials said an NSA police officer shot and killed the driver as he crashed the SUV into an NSA Police vehicle. As of early Tuesday, NSA officials declined to identify the driver. A woman’s wig he apparently was wearing was observed on the ground beside the SUV, according to media reports.

Most women don't even like other women, you're often b!tchy to each other and like making each other jealous 
What I don't like is some of their behaviors which are often very predictable.
Once a guy learns to deal with those, it makes things much simpler.

The whole story sounds like a really bad Hollywood movie gone wrong. Not sure if we can classify it as anything but strange and tragic until we get more facts (if we ever do).

No matter how much you "panic" when armed police tell you to remove yourself from trespassing, the instinct cannot be gun it and crash into someone...

Hall wore a yellow dress at the time of the assault, the documents show. In 2014, Hall was charged with robbery after stealing a vest and skirt from a Baltimore clothing store.

Hall also was charged with assault in February of 2014 while at central booking in Baltimore after she grabbed a broom handle from a supply closet and smashed a window with it. Documents show that Hall ran out of her cell after another inmate attacked her. Hall was being held in a men’s unit of the jail.

Nah, some idiot saw these two idiots walking down the street in Baltimore City dressed as women at about 2:00 am this morning so he picked them up. They proceeded to a motel in Jessup Maryland to party for the rest of the night. About 6:00 am these two idiots left the motel room and stole the third idiot's car. Then these two idiots proceeded to try to ram through the gates at NSA. Why? Well who the hell knows?
