Yes, I created this thread purely to piss off CYAM, feel free to have a real debate about the subject without him deleting dissenting opinion here.

Yes, ad sig posting gives people a chance to get a small fraction of a bitcoin. Years ago they could have got it fro a faucet, but bitcoin faucets don't pay enough now. Once people have a small part of a bitcoin it encourages them to get more involved and grows the bitcoin community.

CYAM probably has loads of bitcoins, but that does not give him the right to put down ad sig posting.

There are many problems on BCT. Newbie bears spreading fud, ponzis, spreding malwares, hacks, and spamming sig ads is only one of the many problems. There is nothing wrong with earning something extra while posting normally. I think fixed-per-month campaigns are better for the forum than pay-per-post campaigns.
