Hi everyone,

I bought a Full Member account 10 days ago. But I do not know if that account has been banned in the past or not ?

Because I heard reputed members here said the account had been banned in the past then it is easy to be banned permanently .

So I want to ask you is :

Is there a way to know the account has been banned in the past or not , and how to handle in case it was banned ?

Sincerely thanks !

Not by looking at the account. Although you could look at the post history to get a general idea ifvthe post history would have warranted a ban.

Other then that you can ask a moderator, although they most likely won't tell you.

There is no way to tell and mods likely wont tell you and only really admins would be of much help any way. Was your previous account banned before you bought this new one? If so, you can't just buy a new account to avoid the ban as that's ban evading.

There is no way to tell and mods likely wont tell you and only really admins would be of much help any way. Was your previous account banned before you bought this new one? If so, you can't just buy a new account to avoid the ban as that's ban evading.

In the past, so I do not understand the rules of the forum, I have created multiple accounts and all banned. Before the ban, I used one of those

accounts to buy a "Full Member" account. And so far, I 've never used that account to post anything in this forum. There are two reasons that I have

not used it is :

1/ The account of my earlier banned for spamming . I admit that I have spam is strictly prohibited and . But according to my thinking , it 's not all my accounts are spam . Some of them are my very sincere post . So , I started to get nervous , I was wondering why the accounts that I truly post also banned ? How do I know my post is quality or not ? Sometimes I think that my post is better than some other members but their post shall be considered as "quality" and my post is "not quality" .
Maybe I was thinking wrong but I really felt like all my post are considered as spam at this time.
That is the first reason that I do not dare to use the account that I bought to post

2/ I do not know how to describe this deal in English

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1007228.0

A--->B(BTCBLOGGER)---->C(yogg)--->D(me)

+(A) sale for (B)
+(B) through (C) broker to sell me (I bought via PM)
+(A) "sign a message" to (B) when he sold it to (B)
This is PM that "yogg" sent me

   https://i.imgur.com/k8tZhzq.png

Sorry, Since I am newbie. I don't know anything about "sign a message". I do not know how is it important  ? I need to keep secret that message as kept secret password or not ? so I can not publicize it here . I sincerely apologize for that. I 'll publicize it when I know that it can be made public.
I will quote what he was PM me when transferred to my account include what is called "sign a message"
I see in profile with a Bitcoin address but I still keep it there without replacing another Bitcoin address (my Bitcoin address). So far, All what I did with that account is "log in" and "log out" to changed email address and password.

Until now , I still have not yet got a respond from "yogg" as he said.

So that's the second reason I have not used that account to do anything.

By the way, I hope you will help me to better understand about "sign a message" !

+ Can I change Bitcoin address in the profile of the account that I bought ?
+ If "yogg" dont send me a "sign a message" from BTCBLOGGER as he said then that account has been affected or any trouble ?
+ I need to save the content of the message or not ?

Sincerely thanks in advance !

Ban evasion is strictly prohibited.

When one of your account get a ban, other accounts may also be banned to avoid ban evasion.

How do I know my post is quality or not ?

• Look what the thread or post you are replying to is.
• Look what was your reply.

By seing both, you will get some idea of quality of your post. It you post in the threads you need to and not in the threads you want to, will avoid many low quality posts.

Sometimes I think that my post is better than some other members but their post shall be considered as "quality" and my post is "not quality" .

Look above. It isn't true. If spam > qualitative posts, you will be banned. Your alts are banned most probably to avoid ban evasion.

Maybe I was thinking wrong but I really felt like all my post are considered as spam at this time.

Okay.

Sorry, Since I am newbie. I don't know anything about "sign a message". I do not know how is it important  ?

Signed message will help you to prove you are the "real" owner. When you buy an account, signed message from previous owner will prove you bought it. This can be used if the "real" owner come after sometime and tell it was hacked.

I need to keep secret that message as kept secret password or not ?

IMHO you shouldn't reveal it to others. Keeping it secure is good.

so I can not publicize it here . I sincerely apologize for that. I 'll publicize it when I know that it can be made public.
I will quote what he was PM me when transferred to my account include what is called "sign a message"

I recommend not to unless if there is a dispute or something. If you have no problem in people knowing it is your alt, then you can post the signed message publicly.

I see in profile with a Bitcoin address but I still keep it there without replacing another Bitcoin address (my Bitcoin address). So far, All what I did with that account is "log in" and "log out" to changed email address and password.

You should change the Bitcoin address.

Until now , I still have not yet got a respond from "yogg" as he said.

So that's the second reason I have not used that account to do anything.

You must ask yogg to give signed message. You may get into trouble sooner or later without it.

By the way, I hope you will help me to better understand about "sign a message" !

See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0. You will get some idea and you will understand how to sign messages.

+ Can I change Bitcoin address in the profile of the account that I bought ?

Yes.

+ If "yogg" dont send me a "sign a message" from BTCBLOGGER as he said then that account has been affected or any trouble ?

You will get into trouble, if:

• You ask a loan.
• You are doing a deal.

And (probably) more.

+ I need to save the content of the message or not ?

Sincerely thanks in advance !

You need to save every part of a signed message.

FYI: A Bitcoin signed message will contain 3 parts:

• Message.
• Bitcoin address.
• Signature.

NB: Bitcoin address will be the address you use to sign that message, any address other than it, will make the signed message invalid. Any copy-paste mistake in "message" or "signature" will also cause the signed message to be invalid.

P.S. You can either use your wallet or use https://brainwallet.github.io/#verify to verify signed messages.

To be able to at least get a hint of whether the account was banned in the past or not, look at the post history. Usually, a ban that was caused by a spam tend to last for 14 days. If a user doesn't made any posts within that time-frame, you can at least infer that the account was banned. Well it isn't a surefire way to know what you're looking for, but that's just the idea that I have in mind that I think would be a possible way of determining whether the account was banned before or not. You need to sift pages by pages for you to get some information. It's better to be sure before buying an account. 10 minutes would probably be enough to find those because you're only finding for a "gap" in which the user hasn't posted for a period of time.

This wouldn't work if the account seller was engaged in activity farming though, which I'm sure many sellers probably do. Basically this involves posting at least once in every 14 day activity period so that it becomes very easy to suddenly ramp up the activity score if the need arises. It's possible that an account that was once activity farmed could not have made any posts for weeks followed by a ton of posts made in a very short time. There is no rule against activity farming (at least not to my knowledge) although if it's detected that an account was farmed for its activity, then signature campaigns tend to look at such accounts negatively.

There is no publicly listed ban list. There's a modlog that list the latest activities but It's not publicly monitored by the forum.

Just make sure that you don't do something over the top with the account like too much spamming and you won't receive a ban.

Most seller will not reveal the username of the account, this will be like hitting for jackpot in search of an account with good post history, best thing you can do is to buy account from some reputed member like quickseller, although there will still be no guarantee to that

All bans listed in "Deletion log" are permanent bans. So it won't work for OP. There is a chance that Admin undo ban after appealing, it can be found by searching because theses days, appeals are done by posting in Meta.

Oh, Sincerely thanks. I think that your way is very good to know a certain account banned . However, almost when buying an account , we do not know

Use an escrow who will check quality of posts of the account you are buying.

P.S.

Quickseller and ACCTseller stopped their account sale.

I kept BTCBLOGGER's funds until he provided a signed message stating he asked me to sell his account.

I got it, then I released the funds. Now I just sent to OP that signed message from BTCBLOGGER and another signed message from me, stating I sold such account to OP on behalf of BTCBLOGGER.

Okay that seems to be the case. Then why would an account get banned if its posts are very infrequent and isn't spamming? There wouldn't be enough grounds to ban a particular account if it abide by the rules of this forum, right? Also, I'm not saying that the above method that I've posted works all the time; it's just a method I thought that could possibly help one user on identifying whether an account got banned in the past or not, because you cannot ask a mod or a staff directly in the first place.
