The following vid was not done years ago, only a few months ago yet for a major city such as NYC I was pretty surprise to find that BTC was not more widely accepted:

Take a look at this one:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UC_8NdR1To  how many errors can you find?   I can't believe one of the posters to the vid said the vid was a paid advertisement. her comment was like very many times.   hahahahaaaaa

It is cool and amazing in using bitcoin for shopping. Maybe it will be long from the Bitcoin is widely accepted, however, it does recognized by many important agent. It need time to prove itself.

I am the founder of AppleByte, the digital currency supporting the arts, based in NYC.

The user community we focus on is artists and art lovers. When we first started explaining AppleByte as a digitals currency, we often said, "It's like bitcoin, have you heard of bitcoin?"

80% of the people we talked too said no, and 90% of the ones that said yes, had a negative opinion based on what they had heard in the media.

Now we simply explain how a digital currency works. Once they are AppleByte users, we teach the history of digital currencies and the place of bitcoin, as the standard.

Here is a blog post of how we explain digital currencies, if you are interested. How digital currencies work

First.Bitcoins that is something I've expressed to many people inside of the CC industry, to speak in terms of 'cryptocurrency' or 'digital currency'.    PICISI will do much to improve the way people look at the CC industry.

Question, given that you are in NY I think you should do a series of these types of videos.  I know there is space on cable access TV for such programming too.
AppleByte should be a sponsor of PICISI -- I'll send you a PM
