that site is looking great i just visited them,
is anybody from forum using their services before because i first time heard about them?
is they have legit service?
If they are willing to use Radio for commercial purposes I guess they are not here to scam you. It is odd that they are not advertising here on bitcointalk tho, whats the odds of hearing of bitcoin initiatives first on a radio than from the biggest btc forum? And they even are not interested of making single service annunciation thread? Weird.
yeah like I said why advertise to the public than a community of people that have and spend their bitcoin.
Here is my updated analysis:
The rollout was premature, there are lots of intuitive inconsistencies and some actual inconsistencies. Examples of intuitive inconsistencies are:
1) advertising on the radio before creating a free thread about the service on BCT
2) having a bitcoin auction site with bitpay but having fees calculated in USD
3) Canadian company (fiat is CAD) yet fiat selection is USD (for a btc site).
Examples of actual inconsistencies are:
1) 'About Us' pages speaks about a 10% fee "LOW 10% Commission ONLY when you sell", however the 'Fees' page speaks about a 5% fee "5% of the total sale to a Maximum fee of $250".
2) In the "terms" it speaks about Bidbit.co, however when you actually register the legal terms of service that you actually agree to speaks of Bid-bit.com (not Bidbit.co).
I sent them an email 12 hrs ago, haven't heard from them yet via automatic reply or manual. When I go to the site I get the DDos security relay message, does that mean lots of traffic is going to the site? I don't know but it's clear that the radio commercial was premature, even as a test run -- I wonder if it was a national spot.
