Jus got immersed into this whole IT world if you will.... It all started w bitcoin and reading on this silk road trial but it evolved into a love for esipaonige and really all things computer related..... this past weekend I got Kali Linux on my macbook and have been blownnnnn awayyyyyyyy by the capabilities availible to you on it...... anybody else fucking around w this level of computing....

also jus tried to run a transform on myown personal url i bought this morning through maltego... dident even do anything but look at the info and my host site (namecheap.com) who i bought my domain and hosting from in stragh btc, and i recived a email about two minutes later that my site was having malcious activity and they took it down... any tips to not have this happen again if they even honer our contract and put my site back up?


and finally what the hell is the leagilty in america w all this stuff?!? at what point is it not recreational anymore? im scared to even type any other domain into it lol but is it illegal to just look? or not even close?

sorry for all the grammer and mispells it just seems so right to type this as fast as my brain can think... im a lil to caught up in the excitment of it all still i guess.....

No idea what your talking about, but see you've had a taste of Linux using Kali, so that's a good thing. Keep learning and exploring that's all I can say.

lol yea more or less that was the gist of the post... I was so high off the fact i had finally got something with the capabilities of Kali I kinda lost it.... but im curious....




I bought a domain in btc from namecheap.com....

using maltego through kali I simply typed in the domain and so popped up a graph with my server and a ganggg of other websites im assuming were on that server as well... agian im very new to this but im not caught up in that ill figure that out later... what im curious of is....


w/o running any transforms or anything i simply viewed the information it showed me and then exited. within a literal 5 minutes I received and email saying my domain was the subject of some malicious activity and had been take offline.... i guess I have two questions... one was this because of what i did? and two, how do i prevent that from happening when doing similar things?

I understand those probably arent exactly some one line answers but just looking for some sort of outlet to people with some knowledge on the subject'
