Give us a way to permalink trust ratings

We need a way to link trust ratings for reference. I'm lost when I look at a person's trust page especially if he has given and taken too many ratings. It's so hard to find a specific rating sometimes, also it's hard to know if a rating was removed.

All these would be solved by giving each rating a permalink. I don't see why not.

+1. I like to see this. I would like to see a way to exclude specific trust feedback but it probably is overkil, I guess. For example, if Bob is in Alice's trust list and Bob leaves a feedback which doesn't seem right to Alice but all other feedback is relevant/appropriate. So excluding that trust feedback so the trust rating of the account won't be effected.

It could work in the way linking to a specific post reply works. If the reply is deleted the link just directs to the post the reply was responding to.

A link doesn't add any additional proof itself, but would be easier for administrators to verify that x trust rating did exist at one time, if they chose to get involved. I understand that the trust system was a bolt on for SMF forums but there is room for additional features.

Interesting request, I support the OP. It will be really useful if theymos will improve the forum trust system with this feature.

Well you could just control and c and control and f to find it, though I'm not saying this is a bad idea. I'd like to be able to respond to feedback that someone has received. Would be worth letting the recipient add a comment to it especially if they feel it's unjust.

I agree wholeheatedly with the latter.  I have two negatives from quickseller and his alt, and one of them is a simply an echo of an unfounded accusation by tradefortress, a known scammer.  I would love to be able to have something on my trust page which makes this more clear.  Obviously, you can find this out by digging and by looking to see if I gave reciprocal feedback (I did), but being able to reply directly to the feedback would be useful, IMO.

If I can say my thought, I think you should ask also this 'feature' in the 'New forum software' and it will be surely added in the new forum. In this section is not noticeable because there a lot of useless topic.

This is a great idea indeed , to add a compulsory section for reference to avoid trust abuse and to be able to snip or keep the trust by some users for one's own view would be a great relief.
