I was talking about a scenario where you and I know each other. I see that you're talking in the case of a stranger (in this case you) calling. Well, then yes I would not even respond. Why would I help a stranger when there are so many out there in need of help? Help that I won't provide.
It would be irrational not to help only if you want to deal with people blaming you (if I know the person and their circle).

because i'm curious. i suspect most people are not truly happy. they just go through the motions of life simply because they have life. not because they are happy with life or look forward to a new day.
