I understand the confusion. I was quite surprised when I stumbled upon AERON as well.

For clarification:

AERO: A blockchain based Drone/UAV software organization. We are aiming to create a Drone/UAV highway system incorporating private property avigation easements in order to enable door-to-door delivery to privately owned residences. We are aiming our services at organizations such as Amazon, Walmart, and other online retailers, courier services, and supply chain based organizations.

AERON: A blockchain based aviation safety organization. AERON is aimed at making the commercial airline industry (transporting people to destinations) safer and more efficient. It seems to be primarily aimed at eliminating the 'human error factor' in commercial aviation.

Neither organizations are affiliated with each other in any way.

Chase Perkins is the primary founder and CEO of Thoughtly and worked with that team to develop machine learning AI structures.

We do not plan to partner with Stride at this time. We believe our team to be quite capable.

Oh interesting! It appears as if Chase has assembled another crack-shot team! I can't speak to Stride (that article looks rather old, years before they had capital and built their machine learning platform) but I can say as a BBC WW employee that Thoughtly was everyone's favourite BBC Labs startup!

Their technology was most certainly in demand in our department and they worked closely with leadership. https://twitter.com/cassandrapower7/status/766213278108385280. I can't speak highly enough about their team and product.

As I recall they were a browser based platform https://www.meteor.com/assets/content/thoughtly-case-study-meteor.pdf, then developed one natively for stodgy old banks and media companies like ours that utilise old hardware. AERO looks absolutely brilliant to me! I'm going to wade through this white paper and keep a keen eye on their project!
