Hello everyone,

I am the founder of a small company named VersoBit (seen here: http://versobit.com/)

We specialize in web design and development, and recently we are opening our market up further by offering discounted rates to clients who pay in bitcoin. If you are interested in our services, please send us a message on our website, and make sure to mention bitcoin.

Specially for Bitcoin clients, we are making our design services flat-rate. (tl;dr your design can be done for a flat price versus hourly)

If you have questions, PM me on the site, or reply the the thread, I just thought I'd put my groups services on here for any interested buyers.

Im sorry, but just my 2 cents here... a web desigb website that doesnt render properly on a mobile device in 2012... and im not all for powder baby blue... try more... neutral colors (like black, dark blue, black dark greys). Other colors than that will diminish your image.

Personally, Our design is not created for Mobile devices at this time because we have a mobile site in development.

As for colour schemes, we have been experimenting with quite a few different colours, and we personally think the colours we chose in the blues were right for our design, its more of a pastel colour, just faded a bit, but, i will pass your notes onto our designer and see if he agrees or not.

If it is on the two large previews that are cut off, that is part of the design, its not meant to aesthetically scrollable, I have been looking into changing that for the reason of that criticism that we keep receiving on that front. The main reason colorhost would be cut off is because we offer a link to the clients page.

This is a mess, first off for a web design company, I don't know if the pictures of designs going off the edge of my browser the effect you want but it is not really that great. Also when clicking the menu buttons you have all this white space above the heading, that is poor design. I could keep going but I don't want to rude.

Personally, These are good notes on a critique level that I can use towards my designer, I am personally more of a coder than a designer. Ill forward your notes to him.

Yeah, I'm really not trying to bash on you guys, I want everyone who work on their project hard to get their projects get what they deserve. I'm just saying, from a marketing point of view, light colors usually carry very little "professionalism" and "strenght".

And like I said, at this time, mobile compatibility is a huge must.

Overall what I mean is, personally, I would probably not hire you, not because "its shit", its actually fine for the most part, just not the "wow, its professional and up to date effect". I guess you could use www.aucoin2.com as a quick vague reference

I'm not trying to be a meanie when I say this: The huge fonts and cut-off numbers look awkward. It was just a strain to read through the whole thing with all of the alternating colors and huge font, as well as not being able to see the full site, even at 1440x900.

Not trying to shoot you down or anything, but the page doesn't display properly in Chrome either, the numbers underneath "our process" are clipped at the top, the horizontal margin goes off screen on the left and right sides with no scrollbar (Are you using auto margins? If so, try placing your content inside of separate divs first) and the content seems a little disorganized (Try a more traditional organization, i.e. as you scroll top to bottom go "Welcome to VersaBit, Who We Are, What We Do, Our Process, What People Are Saying, Our Work, Work With Us, Get in Touch. Leave out "Our Services" as it is a bit redundant when you already have a "What We Do" section).

Maybe even consider turning it into a multi-page website so that all your content isn't cluttered up on one single page, it will give it a cleaner and more professional appearance.

Other than that, I'd say the site looks great, I like the graphics work and colors but if you're looking to stand out and generate more traffic you might try more bright and vibrant colors or go with a dark color scheme as they are more attractive to your average user. Greys and pastels don't seem to hold the average visitor's attention for very long.

Hope this was helpful and I wish you the best in your new business!!!
