Not sure.  I'm sure that the owner(s) probably enjoy playing the game, so much so that they made the site.  I suppose that any online site that deals with randomness as a underlying principle will be under scrutiny by its patrons.

I am curious on the deck shuffling.  Not that I suspect anything odd, the shuffle randomness seems fine...  especially compared to Zynga where the deck shuffles are rigged.

My other thought is that the owner must have made it known he is the owner???  It seems like it would be incredibly easy to just log into the site with another nickname and play without revealing this.

So perhaps revealing his relationship is even more of a reason to trust there's nothing underhanded going on???  BAM!  reverse logic.

They make money on the rake.  If nobody is playing, no money being made. If they play a few tables to give people action, then they make more money. No need to cheat to do so.  And I think I'm net positive playing against them, and I'm not that good at poker.

im just curious....and i dont know anything about the actual programming of websites and such....but couldnt he just make it so that he could see what everyone else has....lose enough to seem legit...but win even more on the big scores?

that's a lot of risk for a site that wants to be taken seriously.  I suppose anything is possible, but that seems unlikely and if he likes poker, cheating at it would be no fun at all.

I bet they have more to worry about than programming in back doors to reveal cards for players; IT security being near the top of the list.
