Some big news, but anyone with a bit of knowledge of current affairs in politics probably won't be surprised:

Turkish Daily Accuses Govt. of Sending Arms to Syria Rebels

http://www.naharnet.com/stories/en/180421

Turkey arrest its own prosecutors for trying to stop weapons delivery disguised as humanitarian aid.

Worth noting:

Quote
Cumhuriyet, which also published a series of still images, said the weapons were of Russian origin and had been supplied from ex-Soviet countries.

Cheap trick to frame Russia for supporting IS?

This has been going on for many months now. Every month, thousands of ISIS recruits travel to the terrorist controlled territories in Syria, after crossing the Turkish-Syria border. The Turkish government never attempts to detain these recruits. On the other hand, they provide all the necessary support for the terrorists to travel to the ISIS capital, Ar-Raqqah.

Hmm... but why Turkish government would be helping ISIS? Turkey is aspirating to join EU and is presumably allied to US so why? Trying to frame Russia? But that's way too sloppy to have an effect. Or maybe Turkish government is playing double with US, officially they are supporting US forces but in reality they are Islamic fanatics...

There are Turks who have always had ambitions to restore the Ottomon Empire, Saddam Hussein was one of the few people standing in the way of their allies and now they got rid of him without thinking about it first they only have to deal with the Kurds and various unaffilliated tribes/organisations. Hopefully they won't get far enough to conquer all of Syria and Iraq, but when they do, I suspect we'll be in for a surprise when it comes to Turkey, the ironic thing is that the PKK were warning about Turkey months ago that they were harbouring ISIS but because they're listed as a terrorist organisation they were ignored. They are also one of the few actually fighting a guerilla war directly against Turkey because of what they're planning and their leader is imprisoned by Turkey, definitely not a coincidence.

Oil is the answer, for ISIS, the clandestine trade in crude involves loading oil from its seized oil fields onto trucks and selling it to shadowy parties at a knockdown discount.
Its not about fanatics , all about the money.

True. Money is the main reason when helping the others. I think US help ISIS too with weapons supporting. Aren't you curious why US with high technologies military couldn't beat ISIS? If ISIS lose, no more consumers to US weapons manufacturer.

Aren't you curious why Iraqi troops with US weapons and Iranian advisers couldn't beat ISIS?

Maybe ISIS was created by Iran as an excuse to expand their Shiite crescent in Syria, Yemen and Iraq.

Of course I have no evidence for this either but welcome to the internet where we can make shit up  Smiley

Agree, we can make several theory about what happened in this world, since there are many case which government didn't explain the causes and made us be so curious about that. And nowadays we sometimes can't trust media mass because government control them.  Smiley
