Author Topic: MSI Afterburner and Memory Clocking Below 500 minus  (Read 2490 times)

i cannot for the love of god figure out how to get memory clocking speeds down to 400 and 300

i did the whole modify the text on the cfg file for over clock and underclock, but i CANNOT move it below 500

is there a forum post i missed? or do you guys have suggestions or knowledge about this?

also im using 5850 ati radeon hd gigabyte video cards

Lower it to the minimum > Close MSI > Open again and you should be able to lower it further down.

If that doesn't work use AMD GPU Tool to set clocks and MSI to set fan speed. I had the same problem u did, edited the config file and nothing. Tried the restart strat with no avail also. download AMD GPU Tool, it works  Wink

gpu tool didn't work

i just restarted....

and i was able to lower clock, down all the way to 300 mhz

got like a 2 to 3 percent hash increase

im getting like 4 to 8  lower C° temps, pretty cool
