Hey, thanks for taking the time to read this Smiley

I really want to get into currency mining, but I am not to sure on what type of coin is best for me. I have an Intel Core i5-4690 Processor, and an EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti graphics card. I don't really care what one I use to mine, just what's most efficient for me. (As in payout rates, not energy). Here's a few things to know:
  • I am not paying for my own power.
  • I don't really care about the popularity of the coin type. As long as it's reliable, and not just about to crash, then that's fine with me.
  • If possible, I would like to use both my graphics card and processor at the same time (If that's possible Tongue )
  • If you're feeling extra nice, could you recommend a mining software to use with the coin, too? Wink )
  • I don't mind pool mining. If you could also recommend a pool for me to join, I'd love you.
  • Thanks again for reading this. <3

Thanks for your suggestions. I really want to start mining. I hope you guys will be able to help Smiley

Maybe think about doing some stake mining with POS coins at the same time as mining proof of work coins?

none of them, why don't you go outside and play catch with a baseball instead?

I'm horribly coordinated. I'd need the money I get from mining to replace the window I will break. Also, more people watched the League of Legends finals then the Baseball finals, soo...

Plus, even if I did have intentions to "go play catch", I could leave the miner running while I do so. Do you have anything useful to say?

Trying to mine with your computer?
Then, minergate is might be the best one. They're also providing a software to mine (with their own pool) and as well as some other alternate pools. And also you can mine any other cryptocoin with their software. And also they providing which coin will be giving more profit by its exchange rate during the last 24 hours by their smart miner.
And my opinion is XMR, BCN and QCN.

Also do merged mine with MCN or FCN (I recommend MCN) and trade it at poloniex, if you mine QCN, trade it at hitbtc.

Hey, thanks for the help! Also, one question, can I use an ASIC miner on this? I don't plan on breaking even if I use an asic, just I think it would be cool to see in action, sort of as a hobby.

I'm thinking this one? http://www.amazon.com/ASICMiner-Block-Erupter-USB-Sapphire/dp/B00CUJT7TO

Edit: Okay... Is this working? I left my computer for a minute, and I come back to find this...? It doesn't SEEM to be working, but I'm also a pretty big noob, so I might just be doing it wrong.

Thanks again!

Actually i'm not familiar with mining. I'm using minergate for just dust with my low config PC. So if you don't mind contact their support team for better and good answer.

I think you might use block erupters to mine with minergate OR may be use some other alternate miners they provided.
