Sorry I couldn't find the answer to this after some searching.

So like many others, I started running the bitcoin.exe downloaded from the site and after few days of running on a quad CPU I realized I wasn't going anywhere. Switched to multiple GPU and have been getting much better results.

What has puzzled me though is that I thought solo mining would only generate a block of 50 coins and not partial coins.  Today in my bitcoin GUI I beside all the transfers from other pools, I saw a transaction that was marked as "GENERATED" for the amount of 0.02.   Can someone please explain what this is? is it a partial coin generation? is it a fee received from transfers of some sort?

Thank you in advance,
Mamad
