I think most people go through a depression at some point in their lives,it can be a great learning time for introspection.
Are you in a relationship now? Other question was about the slashing, how did you come across that?

Anyways best of luck on this journey.

Ive read conflicting stories about fasting. Ive attempted it twice and ended up ordering two bigmac meals 10 minutes in on the first one. Grin
Second one I got wacky with my blood sugar I think. But If I can find it,it was a podcast talking about fasting and how it releases all this stuff from your gut into your system when you fast. I obviously am missing the details,as the topic was a bit science based.

I've battled a mostly undiagnosed mental illness my whole life.
When I was about 14 I was showing alot of the negative symptoms of schizophrenia but never actually heard voices, more like delusional disorder. I've also been told by doctors that I may be bipolar.
More recently I've started wondering if maybe I just have ADHD or aspergers, I was always a bit difficult when I was a kid. I dont know, my brain is a complicated place. Well the human brain overall is confusing. All different chemicals flying round in there, synapses  etc. Sometimes it's just a chemical imbalance like a lack of serotonin or too much dopamine that can cause mental illness.

To anyone who is going through mental illness in anyway, don't be afraid to talk to someone about it as it can make you feel a whole lot better, a problem shared is a problem halved.  Sometimes having a diagnosis can help you to understand yourself better but if you do get a diagnosis don't let it rule your life, learn to live with whatever condition you have, try to embrace it, that's what makes you unique.

Love yourself for who you are and don't let anyone try and change you.

Fasting does not sound like the best method to me. Your body...well your brain needs food and water and that is where your hormones are generally controlling your mode. Yes, i know there are a lot more things that affect a persons mode but hormones that spike a lot may lead to unwanted behavior. The uninfluenced brain wants to survive and reproduce to spread its genes. Our frontal lobe tells us otherwise at times.

It depends on what job positions are available and what he wants to do,I'd say that he should go and do what he wants to do.If he wants to continue doing other jobs outside his own field then he should do that, but if he wants to pursue his own job field then he should look for jobs under his job field. If it was me I would pursue my own job field, not others

I think most people go through a depression at some point in their lives,it can be a great learning time for introspection.
Are you in a relationship now? Other question was about the slashing, how did you come across that?

Anyways best of luck on this journey.

Thats interesting.

Think I really only knew two guys that did it. One was in a college class and I just happened to see his arm was all slashed up in a pattern.
Other guy was in high school and he lost his shit when his girlfriend dumped him.

Might want to get some help in case it resurfaces after another relationship. Its weird how stuff like that pops back up when we are stressed.
