Hi guys I'm new around here and I just recently got into bitcoins. I've heard about it before through the news and also through blogs like gizmodo. How's your guys transaction with bitintstant through the major bank deposit to bitcoins by email? Is there a faster and less fees way of converting US dollars to bitcoins by any chance?
Because I've made a deposit last Friday and have gotten the confirmation from TrustCash instantly but still have not received any email from bitintstant for my bitcoins. I've emailed them on Friday and have gotten an email from Charlie on Friday asking for my email that I used, to which I promptly responded to. Earlier this morning I received an email from a support representative to which I responded to but still have not heard back from since. I also sent Charlie another email which I found on this website and no response from that either. I've tried calling the support number multiple times but I swear no one ever answers that phone since all it says is something like we are either closed or .....

I just wanted what the website advertised and that was being able to have my bitcoins in under an hour. I understand it's a fairly new startup and all. But you do have to understand my frustration and that is the exchange value of bitcoins fluctuates on the market and since the market went up more than what it was at on Thursday, I can say I "potentially" lost value on my coins. Its just like their slogan "Time is money." Yes, yes it is. Hoping to hear a response soon from Charlie or a rep on this site like the other people that also posted before me. I can't pm you Charlie because I made this account just to post this.

Don't hate me for posting this all I am saying is that I am disappointed at the "24/7 customer service" in bold red letterings when even during business hours no one answers the phone. I guess everythings all good when it works. Also a bit disappointed that I am now potentially paying more for less bitcoins, if I ever receive them.

P.S I checked the spam folder many times.

Thanks for reading and for providing if any comments!

Hey Steve,

I'm sorry you had to post this thread, feel free to PM me directly next time.

Your emails were answered and order is processing. Basically, we had to confirm the details of the order since your email was missing from it.

Btw, our support is 24/7 as we answered every email you sent us, and called you back (no answer btw)

All is well and processing this evening.

Thanks.

Thanks for the help guys and for welcoming me to the community! Thanks Erik for that PM, I would have to say he's a very helpful employee of BitInstant! Everything's all good now and I hope my future transactions will go more smoother. But everything is pretty easy once it goes through.
