Namasté!
Although I'm registered since one year on this forum I'm still a 'Newbie'.  Embarrassed So I have to announce this project in this section.

You can find everything here: https://1broker.com

Short Description
With 1Broker you can trade 6 (soon many more) CFDs. This allows you to participate in real-world markets with your Bitcoins.
Currently you can trade Gold, German 30, Dow Jones, Silver, Apple and Google.

CFDs are very easy to understand and transparent financial instruments. Unlike options, they always have the same price as the underlying market.

I think most of the questions you have now, are answered on the website.

Whoami
I’m 20 years old and study software engineering on the Technical University of Vienna since one year. My native language is German so I’m sorry for all the language mistakes. I heard about Bitcoin in early 2011 for the first time.

You may ask: Why should I trust you my Bitcoins?!
After countless thefts, hacks and scams related to Bitcoin this is a good question. I can say that after spending 1000h+ on creating this platform I have absolutely no interest in stealing coins. What I want is a solid business in the long term. Additionally, I can provide my full identity to trusted forum members. If I have time and you are in Vienna you can even eat a Wiener Schnitzel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiener_Schnitzel) with me somewhere Tongue

I hope that this service finds some users. I've worked really hard on this.

Please don't turn out like GLBSE that's all I ask, I'll definitely check this out.

Edit: This looks pretty impressive to me, very clean setup all I think you need is more to trade with! Are all prices in Bitcoin? You're going to have to explain this all to people like me who are still getting used to having another currency to use.

Thanks  Smiley
The currency of the underlying market depends on the CFD. Apple and Google are in dollar. Dow Jones is an index. The only thing which matters when trading are price movements.
If you open a long/buy position on Gold and the price of Gold goes up you will profit.

It won't turn out like GLBSE. Not in this life.

Okay I think I get it, so it's a bit like with Forex where you bet in your dominant currency on whether the price of something moves up and down? And in this version you programmed you just happen to have Bitcoin as the dominant currency rather than anything else?
