Stumbled upon this rather new looking btc raffle site. have played a few games, have won a bit and lost a bit but so far im up still.. its rather kewl how it works. you give it an address to send winnings to and it gives you a deposit address. you can deposit anything between 0.005 and 0.05 (mind your fees, because anything outside that range higher or lower is considered a donation, although when i messed up i contacted the email support and was able to get my coin back rather quickly. anyhow after their is atleast 2 players a cout down starts and when it reaches the end an animation plays spinning all the addresses that have entered and lands on the winner. i have been getting my payouts no later than 40 minutes. it shows the past winners and it also has a chat. Smiley i'd like to see more people on there to play with me though. Smiley

The website look neat, some kind of lucky dip. If all the winnings go to the players, how is the site getting funds for maintenance.

Looks cool and everything, but how do you know it's not rigged by the house?

House accounts being used to play against you? The outcome not being pre-determined? The whole lottery should be more transparent.

It would have been a great concept, if it could be proven that the site was provable fair. Work on that, and the site will become very successfull.  Smiley

Good luck.

I was also going to say that, how provably fair is the site, is there anyway for people to have their username displayed, at least you will know who you are playing with.

yea i thought of those things also and all i know is that i have won 3/5 so far... so im up a little. we should send all these suggestions to the email on the site.. as far as i know from the video i watched in the how it works section the site actually has nothing to do with the game at all except displaying it and that it runs on a self contained back end. i wonder how they could even make it provably fair since the chance of winning is based off of how much each player puts in. and you can deposit last second... so it would have to what? hash all the addresses/users and their amount contributed and and the outcome array with a visible server seed and display it after game? literally the only way i could see it working. i can understand from a programmatic approach not wanting to introduce client seeds and stuff like that.. because the more input you allow from various places the more possible vulnerabilities you have. i have been screwed over on some sites where their provably fair was reversed and someone stole a ton of coin basically leaving all of us that had "balances" empty handed.

would be nice if they could interface it with like this site so you would be able to login to the jackpot with your bitcointalk account like all those sites "sign in with facebook" and just get your username and maybe use the signature to parse for your send back address.

you may all be glad to know that i sent our concerns to the email on the site and yet again i got a prompt response. They loved the idea of interfacing with bitcointalk.org. before i knew it they were emailing me back asking if i would help test the new features. they also show deposits by name, added cookie support, your chat name auto populates, the animation for the rolling now shows names. I think they did a pretty good job of adding the requirement that you have a bitcointalk account, the setup is a little strange but it works very well and the instructions are clear! Smiley i am still surprised at how fast that was. try it out for yourselves and let them know what you think. btw for helping test they not only provided me with 0.02 but i got to keep all my winnings. i only won 2/4 tests but hey i was playing for free anyway. I hope everyone likes the changes and can get the hang of it. currently one of our early testing players is working on some images/video to make the whole process easier to grasp.. We weren't really ready to go completely live yet but i guess since its out now, i had to get it finished, or at least finished mostly. If you have any questions/concerns/suggestions please by all means message us or email.

Thanks you all very much,

Thank you to the site owner for adding my video to the help section!!!

and it was not, noticed that it disconnected Bitcoin Oyster. Sad
