Hope all is well.  This is two pronged.  The first part, who are the most prominent guys, either at the forefront or behind the scenes?  Secondly, Are any of them actively on this forum?

The ones that come to mind at the forefront (in no particular order):

Michael Novogratz
Dan Morehead
Paul Tudor Jones
Louis Bacon Moore
Michael Cagney
Steve Cohen
Alan Howard

It fascinates me that some of these people have been there from the earlier days, and clearly saw something when most others did not.
