Only believe in your skill,unless depends on various 3rd party site can ruin your life.......
I decided to work online since i believe in myself,i again made my mind and leave my real life job.However,life was so complicated since i tried to build my carrier in corporate field.But i was wrong... Freelancing is the only way to get enough free time for your family,to earn money like a pro,to earn respect more then expectation,to build your virtual world with some tremendous guy.Only proper knowledge and hard work with a proper guideline can help you in the right way! so before you start you must determined about your target,make sure you gathered enough knowledge,do hard work on the right direction according to your skill.Otherwise,your hard work will never get you any return if your direction is wrong!Chose what is best for you and start learning.
(Don't dream of considering yourself as a professional freelancer unless you workout for at least 3-5 years)

Even though most of the things you have said is true, none of them are related to bitcoin or blockchain. 
You could have posted this in off topic rather than here.

Most of the freelancer site just rob you with 10%+ fee like freelancer.com and on top of it currency converstion, transaction fee from payment processors like skrill, paypal sucks.
