So I recently had to force quit bitcoin-qt on my mac, and since doing that I can no longer get it to load to the main screen. Just gets stuck at Rescanning 100% where I then have to force quit again. How do I go about fixing this? Shall I just delete the last block?

Thank you

Try backing up everything in the folder with your blockchain, then delete everything EXCEPT the wallet and blockchain files. It might have to rescan again, but it should finish this time. It is most likely stuck because of a conflict between the blockchain and your other data files.

NP. Glad it worked out. Any time you crash, force quit, or run out of disk space (stopping blockchain download), this kind of conflict can happen. It is important to back up your files because some times this can also result in permanent corruption of your wallet.dat file!
